Job Title: Private Sector Housing Inspector - HHSRS Property Inspection & Enforcement
Type: Permanent
Salary: £90,000 per annum

Job Description:
We are seeking professional officers to conduct property inspections of residential dwellings within a Selective Licensing scheme, in accordance with the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS). Applicants must be HHSRS qualified with a minimum of 2 years recent housing enforcement inspection experience.

Task Specification:

Conduct property inspections within the Selective Licensing scheme.
Manage appointments and communication with landlords and tenants.
Utilize a Google-based app for mobile inspections recording.
Complete inspection reports accurately and submit for Quality Assessment.
Report hazards posing imminent risk promptly to the Council.
Maintain professionalism and adhere to health and safety protocols.
Invoice monthly for payment following successful Quality Assessment.
Required Standards and Remuneration:

Act professionally and dress smartly during inspections.
Manage own health and safety on-site and while traveling.
Complete allocated inspections within 3 weeks.
Monthly invoicing for payment authorization.
Responsible for communicating with landlords/tenants and attending tribunal hearings when necessary.
