Customer Service Assistant

Project Coordinator

Resourcing Group is working with a local contractor based in Newton who would like to hire an additional team member to join their office based team. The company specialise in carrying out repairs and maintenance, working specifically on behalf of a local Housing Association. They co locate with their end client and offer an on site service, which means that the person being offered this role, will need to be based in the Newton Abbot branch on a daily basis, full time, Monday - Friday.

The role will involve:

  • Taking and making telephone calls - this is a busy role, so a high volume of calls come in on a daily basis
  • Managing Emails and communicating both internally and externally
  • Managing KPI data
  • Scheduling work with direct work force
  • Liaising with direct labour as well as sub contractors and the supply chain
  • General Administrative
  • Managing internal jobs and work in progress - from an administrative capacity
  • Liaising with the tenants, managing expectations, delivering a great customer journey
  • Ensuring that the tenant receives brilliant feedback and customer service
  • Ideally, an understanding of compliance would be advantageous. This is not a deal breaker. A strong scheduler can be taught this aspect of the role, but having some basic knowledge in a previous role would be beneficial.

This is an initial 6 month contract, covering maternity leave. It could be extended beyond, this but initially, is being offered on a 6 month fixed term basis.
