Quantity Surveyor - Manchester

We are working with a National Construction contractor who are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their business in South Manchester. They have recently secured a nationwide framework agreement to work on various new build health care projects and are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to help with the running and cost management of the projects.

The opportunity comes with long term career development and training. You should have previous experience of working within a commercial build environment, whether this is in Health care, Education, Industrial.

The projects have a strong emphasis on M&E - knowledge of this sector would be an advantage.

-Cost Planning
-Overseeing projects up to £25m in value
-Working alongside Senior Quantity Surveyor and Commercial Manager to provide accurate costings for each project
-Managing Sub contractor packages
- Working with client/estimators/design and project teams
-Previous experience of working in critical environments an advantage
- Degree qualified Quantity Surveyor
-Driving Licence


The role will be based between the office and site, there could be some staying overnight due to the location of the projects, although this would be for only 1 night potentially 2.
