Our client Lloyds Banking Group is a leading UK based financial services group providing a wide range of banking and financial services, focused on personal and commercial customers. On behalf of Lloyds Banking Group, AMS are looking for a HR Service Delivery Consultant for a contract based in Leeds with a hybrid working model, until the end of 2024.

Purpose of the Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end vetting process for colleagues joining the Group, ensuring compliance with Home Office Regulations and the Group's Colleague Screening Standards. You will play a pivotal role in guaranteeing that all candidates undergo compliant vetting procedures, taking personal responsibility for your own portfolio of candidates from initiation to completion. Your objective will be to ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience throughout the vetting process. Additionally, you will be tasked with identifying and mitigating risks, ensuring that the organisation is safeguarded from any potential liabilities.

As a HR Service Delivery Consultant, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the end-to-end vetting process for colleagues joining the Group, ensuring compliance with Home Office Regulations and the Group's Colleague Screening Standards.
  • Identifying and managing risks, taking appropriate actions to mitigate them and safeguard the organisation from undue liabilities.
  • Proposing and implementing improvements to processes, systems, and procedures related to vetting, monitoring them through to successful implementation.
  • Developing personal capabilities through formal and informal training opportunities, while also providing coaching and support to the team.
  • Collaborating closely with internal teams and third-party vetting providers to drive performance and enhance the efficiency of the vetting process.

What we require from the candidate:

  • Strong administrative and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proven experience in fast-paced environments, demonstrating efficiency, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools and the capability to analyse key themes and trends using Management Information (MI).
