Location: Wellington
Salary: £27,500
Hours: Monday- Thursday 07.30-16.30 Friday 07.30-12.30 (39 hours)
Our very well established client in Wellington have an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

As a member of the Engineering & Development team you will be responsible for the day- to-day management and development of new product projects. It is not the traditional Project Engineer role, as there is a lot of system admin and little design.
Day to day this may encompass:
- Driving new projects from conception to completion
- Discussions with our Business Development Managers and Production Team to ensure the business and our customer needs are clearly met
- General problem solving activities to support continual improvement efforts.
- Inputting information on our various customers quality part acceptance systems
For this role you will need to preferably have:
- An engineering based education or be able to show equivalent experience
- Be computer literate
- Be able to work to a high degree of accuracy and repeat ability
- An awareness of general problem solving methodology and techniques.
- Experience of CAD systems, engineering drawings, tool design and project management
- Previous experience in a similar role and knowledge of automotive quality systems would be a strong advantage.
