Job Description


We are currently looking for an IC Architect for our Research Department of our new R&D center in Athens, Greece. As an IC Architect, you will play a pivotal role in the development of next generation integrated circuits for Energy Storage Applications. These high-performance and robust Analog/Mixed Signal ICs will drive the efficiency, safety, and reliability of energy storage systems. You will collaborate closely with external subcontractors to co-design and deliver innovative solutions, ensuring the successful integration of ICs into our products.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include: Requirements Definition: Work along different internal teams on requirements and product solutions. Architecture Selection: Choose appropriate architecture and design blocks considering application needs, power efficiency, accuracy, reliability, and safety aspects. Collaborate with Subcontractors: Collaborate closely with external subcontractors to co-design and optimize IC solutions that meet performance, power, and safety requirements. Analog/Mixed Signal Circuit Design: Hands on design and implementation of key Analog/Mixed Signal circuits and subsystems. Execute the entire workflow. ASIL-D and ISO 26262: Apply ASIL-D and ISO 26262 standards to develop safety-critical ICs, adhering to stringent functional safety requirements. Verification and Testing: Carry out IP bench validation. Collaborate closely with internal teams to test, integrate, and verify the proposed solution for the energy storage system. Support: Perform design reviews, evaluations, characterization, and test results.

Job requirements: Masters, or PhD degree in Electronic Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in Analog (Mixed Signal) IC design and affinity with digital designs. Proven experience and track record of successful tape-outs, demonstrating proficiency in all aspects of the design flows. Experience with CMOS and BCD processes is a plus. Experience of functional safety standards such as ASIL-D and ISO 26262 is a plus. Collaborative mindset with effective collaboration skills for co-design with external subcontractors. Strong problem-solving skills and positive mentality when tackling new problems and issues. Fluency in English, and additional European languages are a plus.
