We are currently working with a brilliant, modern firm of accountants in the Liverpool area, who are looking for a Qualified Accountant to join their firm.

The role would be office based ideally, however the firm are open to discussing some flexibility. There would also be plenty of opportunity to progress in the medium to long term for the right person.

About the Role:

As a Qualified Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the financial operations of our esteemed client. Whether you are ACCA or ACA qualified, or gained your expertise through valuable experience, we welcome applications from driven individuals who are eager to excel in their accounting career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review financial statements for a portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Oversee the preparation of statutory accounts, management accounts, and tax returns, providing expert insights to clients.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis, identifying opportunities for improvement and offering strategic recommendations.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions to help achieve their business goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest accounting regulations and industry trends, ensuring clients receive the best advice.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant with ACCA or ACA qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in a similar accounting role or finance-related position, ideally in a practice background.
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.

Remuneration:

The salary for this role is up to £45,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
