Up to £38,000

Butler Rose are working with a brilliant firm of accountants in Leyland who are on the look for an Accounts Senior to join their team. This is a well established firm with a friendly team who have been working at this firm for a number of years. The firm treat their staff really well, as reflected in the lengths of service here.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage client accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Provide expert advice on accounting and taxation matters.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their unique financial needs and goals.
  • Supporting junior members of staff, reviewing completed work and assisting in training of juniors when necessary.

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent (or close to qualified)
  • Proven experience in a similar role within an accountancy practice - ideally over 4 years.
  • Strong technical skills in accounting and taxation.
  • Excellent communication and client management skills.
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach to work.
