We are pleased to be working with an amazing Accountancy Practice based in Oldham, who are looking for a motivated Client Manager to join their team.

Duties:

  • Working in a lead role with the clients, including preparation of accounts and tax returns, both limited and unincorporated, alongside the other compliance requirements of clients specific to each department. Some advisory work will be necessary so technical experience is essential.
  • Supporting senior managers and partners of the firm with a varying number of tasks to support clients directly.
  • Supporting junior members of staff with their own workflow and deadlines to aid with their own progression and development.
  • Responding to ad-hoc client queries and liaising with specialists internally and externally to provide a timely response to any questions asked.
  • Setting up and using cloud-based software for maintaining client's accounting records, noting the need to be ready for Making Tax Digital. This will extend to holding training sessions with clients who prefer to take a hands-on approach to their record keeping.

Requirements:

  • Ideally a qualified accountant working in an accountancy practice. Would consider QBE also.
  • Experience in a client facing role, both verbal and written.
  • Ideally experienced in managing a team within practice
  • Strong IT, numeracy, and literacy skills.
