Cloud Accountant

Oldham

Up to £36,000

We are pleased to be working with an amazing Accountancy Practice based in Oldham, who are looking for a motivated Cloud Accountant to join their team.

Duties:

• The preparation of accounts and tax returns, both limited and unincorporated, alongside the other compliance requirements of clients specific to each department.
• Supporting managers and senior members of the team with a varying number of tasks to support clients directly, up until the point at which you feel comfortable to take a lead role with the clients.
• Supporting junior members of staff with their own workflow and deadlines to aid with their own progression and development.
• Responding to ad-hoc client queries and liaising with specialists internally and externally to provide a timely response to any questions asked.
• Setting up and using cloud-based software for maintaining client's accounting records, noting the need to be ready for Making Tax Digital. This will extend to holding training sessions with clients who prefer to take a hands-on approach to their record keeping.

Requirements:

• Ideally 24 Months+ experience working in an accountancy practice.
• Experience in a client facing role, both verbal and written.
• Ideally underway with some professional qualifications - not a necessity.
