Butler Rose are excited to be representing our client, a well-established, highly successful, and growing firm of chartered accountants in Basingstoke. This is a modern, forward thinking firm who are now keen to appoint an accomplished Accounts Senior as part of their expansion.

Role Responsibilities:

Statutory accounts preparation under FRS102 Section 1A and FRS105 for a diverse range of highly successful clients with multi-million £T/O

Preparation of corporation tax and submission of CT600's to the HMRC

Dealing appropriately with fee proposals and confident in offering and quoting for additional services

Attend client meeting and liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients

Effectively manage time to ensure work is completed within agreed time and budget

Team management, identifying any training needs and providing guidance to junior team members

Person Requirements:

At least 2+ years' experience in a practice environment in a similar role capacity

ACA/ACCA studier (desirable) ideally part qualified although candidates at other stages of qualification will be considered.

Current knowledge of statutory accounting, corporation/personal tax and VAT

Exposure to audit work would be ideal although full training will be offered if applicable.

Excellent communication skills and adept and developing and maintaining strong working relationships
