Job Description

An exciting and rare hybrid remote role is now available. We are looking for a qualified and experienced accountant to join a modern and friendly accountancy practice based in stylish new offices in Reading. This role will sit within a successful and growing team and will offer plenty of progression and the business continues to expand.

Skills / experience:

* ACCA qualified with ideally 2 years PQE
* Recent experience working in an accountancy practice for at least 2 years
* Experience reviewing accounts, VAT, bookkeeping and tax returns prepared by juniors
* Have experience in doing sign off meetings with clients
* Experienced in advising owner managed businesses
* Confident in looking after clients
* A friendly and approachable
* A _can do_ attitude
* Great attention to detail
* Proficient at reviewing work prepared by others to the highest standard
* Have a passion for learning and delivering excellence
* Excellent communication skills
* Comfortable talking to people and building strong relationships with them
* Want to make a real difference by helping our clients build better businesses and a better life for themselves

Education:
* Ideally you will be ACA / ACCA qualified but all levels of ACA / ACCA will be considered depending on your practical experience.
Experience:
* accounting: 2 years (required)
* Recent experience working in an accountancy practice (essential)
